Creating a Printed Fabric Virtual Sample Overview
You can use Optitex PDS to create a 3D sample that contains printed fabric. This allows you to define a style with a specific fabric that is placed on your pieces. You can then upload a fabric as an image, modify it to set its properties such as crop, offset, scale, etc. and then place it on your pieces. When editing, you can also change the transparency of the image to assist you when adjusting the pattern. You can also use the new "Use 2D as Background Shader" option to enable a new PDS mode that allows you to synchronize your actions in 2D and in 3D.
