Registering a New Software Key Offline using the Tahles Portal (up to version 21.3)

Register your new software key Offline using the Thales portal if you are using version 21.0 or earlier.

For versions 21.1-21.3 Online registration, but you can use the offline process in case the Online is blocked or not possible.

Registering your product key (software key) offline consists of:

  • Generating a fingerprint c2v file,

  • Logging in to a web page using the product key

  • Downloading and installing a v2c file.

To register your software key Offline

  1. Install Optitex full setup

  2. Run “Local License Utility” for a non network key or “Network License Utility” for a network key.

(In version 19 or earlier go to folder C:\Program Files\EFI-Optitex\Optitex[version#]\App and use RUS_YBZCT.exe for a non network key or RUS_GWYWG.exe for a network key)

  1. Select “Collect Information” and save the c2v file.

  2. Open the Customer Portal: https://optitex.sentinelcloud.com/ems/customerLogin.html.

  1. Enter the product key, then click the “Log in”.

  1. Click “Offline Activation”

  1. Click the “…” button, to upload  the c2v file previously saved.

  2. Click" Generate"

  1. The v2c file is created.

  2. Click the V2C file to download it.

  3. Run “Local License Utility” for a non network key or “Network License Utility” for a network key.

  4. Go to the "Apply License File" tab.

  1. Click “…” and browse to select the downloaded V2C file.

  2. Click "Apply Update"

  3. The Product key is registered:

  1. Run the latest version License manager.

  1. Click Online Activation.

  1. After the successful activation, you can see the version number and the licensed modules.

 

Note:

• If online activation is not possible, proceed with Offline activation.
