Fabric Testing

Determining physical fabric properties is an important part of the Optitex solution, and critical for achieving proper and realistic garment simulation in Optitex 3D. To perform fabric physical properties measurement, Optitex provides you with the Fabric Testing Unit (FTU) which consists of a series of measurement devices dedicated for the testing various fabric properties. The hardware and software complex provides you with corresponding methods for automatic and accurate measurement of fabric weight, thickness, stretch, shear, bend and friction. The measurement methods are powered by industry standards, providing you with the highest level of measurement precision and reliability.
