Adding Trims to Your Cloth
You can add trims to your cloth when you want to make your product more realistic. For example, when you want to add decorative stitches, accessories, buttons, etc.
There are two types of trims:
Segment Shapes: Use when you want an accessory on the edge of a segment, i.e., pipes, stitches, zippers, etc.
Buttons Shapes: Use when you want to add a button to your pattern, i.e., buckles, hooks, etc.
There are a few ways to create rigid parts:
-
Create your model in another 3D software, then import your rigid part into the PDS. See Creating Rigid Parts.
-
Create a PDS file and save it as a segment shape. See Creating PDS Rigid Parts.
-
Import the rigid parts into the PDS. See Importing Rigid Parts.
-
Download the Sample Pack and add the models to the PDS via Properties. See Sample Pack User Guide.
