Text

This tool is used for two purposes:

1. Adding a text on a piece (i.e writing a comment on a certain place over a piece)

• This text that can be accessed through the Text Properties and moved with the Move And Copy Internal Tool.

• This text can also be graded .

• This text can be  customized per each size (starting from version O21)

2. Editing the Piece Information Text – this can't be accessed via the properties pane or moved with the 'Move And Copy Internal Tool'.

• Toolbox: General Tools

To use the Text tool to add text:

1. Select the Text Tool.

2. Click on a piece.

3. Enter the text and click Ok.

To edit existing text

1. Select the text and go to the text properties panel

2. Click the 3 dots icon in the Text box. The Text Tool  editor opens

3. Edit your text.

 

To use the Text tool to edit Piece Information

1. Make sure the text needed to be edited is visible. Check the View & Selection pane.

2. Select the Text tool.

3. Click on the text.

4. Re-position it or change its values in the dialog.
