Add Several Lines

Use this tool to add several lines of  equal distance.

• Toolbox: Points & Notches

To use the add a several lines tool:

1. Select the Add Several LinesTool.
   
   The mouse cursor changes as follows:
   
   

2. Click on the first point.

3. Click on the second point.
   
   The Evenly Distribute Lines Along Segment dialog appears:
   
   

4. Enter the Number of lines desired, their distance and the gap between them.
   
   

   Field	Description
   Number	Sets the number of lines to be added. The first line will start at the first point of the selected segment, and the last line will end at the last point of the selected segment.
   Line Length	Sets the length of the lines. The Blank Length field is automatically updated when changing this field.
   Blank Length	Sets the length of the gap between the lines. The Line Length field is automatically updated when changing this field.
   Distance	Indicates the distance between the first & last button, of different sizes.
   On First/ Last Point	Sets whether the first/ last button should be created on the first/ last point of the selected segment.
   Internal Contour Attributes	Information regarding the rest of the fields can be found in Internal Contour Properties.

5. Click Ok when you are done.
