The Pattern Design Area Rulers
The Rulers (displayed by default) are located in the Pattern Design area at the top and to the left.
The rulers give you an immediate sense of the scale, for example, the piece's general size.
The rulers are using the system defined units.
The vertical/horizontal position of the cursor is interactively reflected on both rulers as a dashed line.
The rulers can be hidden and shown.
Use the rulers as a reference when:

Assessing the actual size of elements.

Setting Guide Lines position/distance.

When moving points.
-
When drawing.
