  • I have an old O/Cloud account, do I need to create a new password?

While transferring all of your data from the old platform to the new O/Cloud, we could not transfer your password because we don't have it

The first time you access your New O/Cloud account, you will have to create a new password.

You can use the Forgot Password dialog to create a new password, make sure to enter the e-mail address that you used in the old platform

 

  • How can I Reset My Password?

If you forgot your password, you can use the Forgot Password button in the login page.

After you enter your e-mail address that was used to create your O/Cloud account, you will receive an e-mail with instructions how to Reset Password

 

  • I clicked on the link in the e-mail but O/Cloud never finish loading, what should I do?

O/Cloud is currently supported on Chrome and Firefox browsers.

When opening links to O/Cloud you received in e-mail, see if they open in Chrome or Firefox or in Edge

or Internet Explorer.

 

  • How Do I Upload Files?

If you have appropriate permissions, you are able to upload files to O/Cloud in one of 2 ways:

1. O/Cloud Web- Open a Workspace, click on the Create button on the top-right corner, select Upload Files. You can use the Browse button to select files for upload or simply drag and drop files into the dialog

2. Upload from PDS- You can upload PDS files directly from PDS if you have the Optitex Cloud Agent installed. PDS files that are uploaded from PDS can be viewed in our online 3D Viewer.

  • What Happens if I Upload a File that Already Exists?

If you upload a file that already exists (same file name), the file will upload as a new "revision". By default the first time a file is uploaded it is named "revision #1", the next time the file is uploaded it will be renamed as "revision #2, revision #3, etc.

 

  • Can I Share My O/Cloud Files With Anyone?

If you want to Share your content with other people, they will have to have a license under your Company Space.

Once you create a user for them, you will be able to Share Workspaces and set the relevant permissions level

  • I want view Stretch and Distance maps but the buttons are not working

Stretch and Distance maps are available only for PDS files that were uploaded using PDS O21 and later.

To enable these maps on previously uploaded files, you will need to upgrade your PDS version and upload the file again

 

  • How Do I Report a Problem/Issue?

  • Why am I not seeing emails from O/Cloud?

It is possible the emails that are being sent to you are going to your Spam/Junk folder in your mailbox.

In order to prevent this from happening you need to add the following email: optitex.cloud@optitex.com to your whitelist.

The process for whitelisting varies according to your email client.
