Installing the Optitex AI Plugin to save Pieces to PDF

This AI plugin will allow you to save the pieces with the graphics from AI to PDF

Note: If you already installed this plugin, skip this step and proceed to the next step, Apply Graphics to Pieces Using Adobe Illustrator

To install the Plugin:

  1. Go to the folder C:\Users\Public\Optitex\Optitex [version#]\AI Plugin

  2. Right click t he file SavePiecesToPDF.exe and select Run as Administrator.

    The Select Components dialog opens:

  3. Select the relevant AI versions and Click Next.

    The Ready to Install dialog opens:

  4. Click Install.

  5. The plugin is installed.

  6. Click Finish to exit.

You will now find Save Pieces to PDF added to the AI File Menu:

 

Now you can move on to the next step, Apply Graphics to Pieces Using Adobe Illustrator
