Continuously Perform 2D to 3D Dynamic Updates

You can use the Continuously Perform 2D to 3D Dynamic Updates tool when you want to automatically update the 3D window after each change you make in 2D. If you turn Dynamic Updates on, you do not have to refresh the 3D window after every change you make in 2D. For more information about how and when to use Dynamic Updates, see Viewing Changes in 3D.

If you do not want to automatically update the 3D window, you can also use the Update Now tool which updates all the change at once. For more information, see Update 2D to 3D Now.

Note: The pattern must be placed in the 3D window in order to turn on Dynamic Updates.

To use the Continuously Perform 2D to 3D Dynamic Updates tool:

Open a PDS file and place the cloth.

From the 3D toolbar, click .

Once Dynamic Updates is on, the icon is highlighted:

Once you make changes to your pattern, the 3D window will automatically get updated.
