Suggested Preferences

PDS Preferences are set to the defaults when you first open the software.

Learning each Preference is not required to start working in Optitex.

After you have become familiar with PDS, you can change the settings that fit best with your workflow.

Below is a list of our suggested Preferences. Working Units and Colors are up to the individual.

These are the basic recomended Preferences.

• Working Units: Allows you to set the working units you want to use, i.e. centimeter, meter, etc.

• Display: Leave at Default Settings.

• Piece: Leave at Default Settings.

• Build, Trace, Map Zone, Fold In/Out: Leave at Default Settings.

• Snap And Lock: Leave at Default Settings.

• Confirmation And Warning: Leave at Default Settings.

• Click Draft for more information

• Equal Segments: Leave at Default Settings.

• Sizes System: Set your required default base size name
