Rotate Horizontally

You can use the Rotate Horizontally tool to rotate a piece by a selected segment (without changing its baseline position), so that the piece's selected segment is parallel to the X axis.

• Keyboard shortcut: -

To rotate to horizontal:

1. activate the Rotate Horizontally tool.

   The cursor changes to:

2. Select the first point on the contour:
   
   

3. Click the second point on the contour (clockwise) :
   
   

The piece is rotated so that the selected segment is parallel to the X axis.
