About Piece Name Translation

The Piece Name Translation utility allows you to quickly and automatically translate piece names between different languages.

The translation is based on a dictionary file in excel format that is configured and defined by the user.
The dictionary file can contain several different languages and many pieces names.
The translation is done precisely according to the values defined in the dictionary file.
The result is a newly saved PDS file with translated pieces names.

Note:

The translation utility is available starting from PDS version 21.4.
Supported languages are all the languages that can be used for piece names in the PDS piece properties.
The dictionary file should be created and maintained by the customer
Only pieces names included correctly in the dictionary file will be translated.
