Bending: Angle measurement

With the Angle measurement scheme (utilized in the XHF-42AII Stiffness Tester), the specimen is moved along the table until the bent end of the specimen touches the inclined surface as shown below.

When such a scheme is utilized, the measurement is performed to determine the bending length parameter (BL), which is the length of the bent part of the specimen.

The Bending Angle (BA) is defined as a property of the measurement device; therefore, this parameter is not adjusted from test to test. Usually, the Bending Angle of 41.5deg is used.
