Saving in CLT Format

CLT is a three dimensional image of your product, it provides a graphical collaboration tool for all involved in the product development process. Saving in clt format allows a 3D view of the product without having to install Optitex. This means you can send the 3D image integrated with an Excel sheet to your production providers, share the 3D image with co-workers via e-mail ,and integrate the 3D image within business and marketing presentations.

To save in CLT format:

  1. From the 3D toolbar, click the Load Model icon .

  2. From the drop-down list, select Save Cloth as follows:

  1. In the Save As dialog, enter a name for the model.

  2. From the Save as type drop-down list, select Cloth Files (*.clt).

  3. Click Save.

After saving, you can now double-click the file and view your new image in your default browser:
