Using the 3D Notch Tool

Use the 3D Notch Tool to create a notch on a pin or on a line drafted on the 3D model. The 3D Notch will be translated into a 2D Notch after flattening the patch.

To use 3D Notch:

Select the 3D Notch Tool.

Place the notch either on a flattening pin or on a flattening line.

The 3D Notch can be set either before or after the patch was built.
