Selecting Other Elements

Selecting the other elements in the PDS is similar to the methods for selecting pieces. Some examples are Points, Darts, Notches and internal lines or objects. Objects to be selected will turn RED when your mouse is hovered over it. Below is a table showing different elements and how to select them.

Piece	Click inside the piece or on its contour
Internal contour	Click on the internal contour between two points
Segment	Click on the first point of the segment, drag to the last point of the segment clockwise around the piece
Point	Click on the point. Shift + click or Ctrl + click to select multiple points
Notch	Click on the tip of the notch
Dart	Click on the tip of the dart
Baseline	Click the baseline
Pleat	Click on the dashed lines of the pleat
Text	Click on the text
Button	Click on the button
Circle	Click on the contour of the circle
