Pleat Lines

You can use Pleat Lines tool when you want to add a pleat line (also know as an Axis line). This is an object that can later be converted into a Box or Knife pleat through the Properties pane.

Location

• 

• Menu: Tools> Pleats> Add Pleat Axe

• Toolbar: Insert

• Toolbox: Dart & Pleat

To use the Pleat Lines tool:

1. Select the Pleat Lines tool.

2. Select the first point where you want the pleat line to be located:
   
   

3. Drag with your mouse and select the second line for the pleat line.
   
   A pleat line is created:
   
   

4. Double-click on the pleat line to open the Pleat dialog:
