Move Sub-Segment

Move a segment without changing a specified sub-segment (a smaller segment) Select the containing segment, and then the sub-segment.

To use the Move Sub-Segment Tool:

1. Select the Move Sub-Segment tool.

2. Select the container segment.

3. Select the contained segment (the sub-segment).

4. Move the sub-segment.

 

Common Usage Example

1. The container segment.
   
   

2. Sub-segment.
   
   

3. Move the sub-segment.
   
   

4. The sub-segment remains unchanged.
   
   

 

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Alt - Open the 'PDS:Move Point Dialog', if it was disabled in the preferences.

• Shift – Rotate the sub-segment.
