Add Spline Support Points

Use the Add Spline Support Points command to add non-grading points along curved segments, in order to better maintain the shape. This command is usually used when using the Trace Segments Tool, but the outcome does not exactly follow the original segments. This command is the converse of the Points Cleanup command.

To use the Add Spline Support Points tool:

1. Select one or more piece(s).
   
   

2. Invoke the Add Spline Support Points command.
   
   The Add Spline Support Points dialog is displayed.
   
   

3. In the dialog, select the piece(s) on which to add the support points.
   
   

4. Click OK to add the points.
   
   
   
   Grading Points are added, if needed, to keep the shape of a curved graded segment
