Limit Rotation

This command acts as an on/off toggle switch for the rotation and flipping limitations specified in the Piece Info, All Sizes Info and the Global Piece Info dialogs.

If this command is enabled (turned on), Optitex Marker will read the Rotation and Mirror Limits defined in the Piece Info, All Sizes Info or Global Info dialog boxes. If the Limit Rotation command has been disabled (turned off), Optitex Marker will rotate any piece in any direction (by any amount) and allow mirroring of pieces.

  • Menu: Options> Limit Rotation

To limit rotation:

  1. Click on the 'Limit Rotation ' command.

  2. You will notice a V mark next to the Limit Rotation. The V indicates that this command is enabled (turned on)and if there is no V next to the line, this option is non-active.

There are many ways to rotate pieces in Optitex Marker: The 90/180 icons, the Rotate tool and the mouse methods of rotating. having the Limit Rotation non-active will allows patterns to rotate in any direction according to the commands that were used. When this option is active - the pieces will moved only according to the limitations that in the Piece Info pane.
