Import Stretch data from CSV

The Import CSV button allows you to import raw measurement data from an external CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file. Once the import is performed, the corresponding measurement data table is filled with the actual imported results.

Notes:

  • The CSV file available for the import should provide you with multiple rows; each such row represents a single force-elongation pair. The force and elongation values are separated using the comma.

  • Since the force applied to the specimen during the test is a stretching force, its value should appear within the CSV as negative.

  • The elongation value within the CSV file should be represented by the absolute value (the distance between grips measured in accordance with the certain force value).
