Use Converter 5 Program to convert EXP Investronica files from Investronica's new database system into Optitex file format. The new Investronica Converter, Converter 5, can convert Styles and Pieces
Investronica File Types
EXP Investronica Input Files: The new investronica style files have a .exp extension.
PGS Investronica Input Files: Single piece file.
Both formats are a result of database export functions in Investronica, see How To Export Styles From Investronica
To Convert Investronica Data:

To convert an new Investronica Style, click on the Models Tab, Select at the end of the “Investronica EXP archive:” Field in Converter 5 and select the .EXP file to convert.

To convert Individual Pieces, click on the Models Tab, Select at the end of the “Investronica PGS Files:” Field in Converter 5 and select the folder that contains the .PGS files.

For each tab Models and Pieces; Select at the end of the “Optitex Output Directory:” Field and choose a folder to store the converted Optitex Files.

Choose DSN for V9 Optitex format or PDS for V10 at the bottom of the dialog.

"Special Notch Setting" will use predefined notches from the Investronica system.

Select The Models Tab to convert a Style; Click on the Style (use SHIFT to select more than 1 style) select to convert the Style (s). Grading will be converted as well.

Select The Pieces Tab to convert Individual Pieces; Click on the pieces (use SHIFT to select more than 1 style, or drag a box around the pieces you want to convert), and select to convert the piece(s). Grading will be converted as well.
Using The Converter With Command Line
This function enable to use the converter without a user interface. For more information, see Using Command Lines.
