  • When User Account Control (UAC) is ON (Both on Public or Private Modes):
    The exact location of the files depends on the operating system and whether you have a 32 or 64 bit machine.

    1. Backup Files will be saved in the following location: [C:\Users\UserName\Optitex\Backup]

    2. OCC changes (queue and occ.ini file) will be saved in the following location: [C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Optitex\App\Occ]

  • We recommend if you are using a Plotter/Cutter, then prior to installing Optitex, Windows User Account Control (UAC) should be disabled.

  • We recommend to activate and test your network key on a non-server station before hosting the key on a Windows Server environment.

  • Nest ++ Pro Multicore released with version 12.2 cannot run on Windows XP, use Windows 7 or later.

  • If you do not have Windows Installer 3.0 or later installed you may get an 'Error 1723' message during the installation, in which case it is recommended to install Windows Installer 3.1
